•  Get a close look at the incredible honey bee with a beekeeper Mary Woltz

•  Take a "seashore safari " and meet a sea star and other amazing local marine life with Stacy Myers, Cornell Marine Youth Educator

•  Join a cheese tasting with Mike Cavianola of the Cheese Shop, Sag Harbor

•  Taste specialty and Asian greens with Karen Lee of Sang Lee Farms, Southold

•  Enjoy local water oysters and learn about aquaculture with Karen Rivara, Eeros Oyster Company, Southold

Our goal

Our goal is to raise $3,000 towards a new East End "Jr. Slow Food" Curriculum 10-session after school program for 5-6 th graders. First program to begin in Fall '05 at Ecco Farm, East Hampton , taught by Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Youth Educators.

Chef Todd Jacobs and Jennifer Jacobs have generously offered us the party for free, if we can encourage 50 Slow Foodies to stay for dinner (as well as get some help with bartending.) Todd is extending the $28 fixe price menu to 10pm

We want to see 200 Slow Food supporters join us!
